Resolution criteria:
This market resolves YES if, by August 15, 2026, 11:59:59 PM ET, at least one issuer on the Top 10 U.S. Bitcoin ETF issuer list above files an official SEC disclosure that explicitly addresses a Bitcoin chain split, fork, competing Bitcoin-descended chain, or related fund treatment arising from or directly connected to BIP-110.
Qualifying SEC filings include Form 8-K, prospectus supplements, registration statement amendments, S-1 amendments, S-3 amendments, N-1A amendments, 424B filings, or any other official SEC-filed amendment, supplement, or current report made through EDGAR by the issuer, trust, sponsor, or ETF registrant.
A filing qualifies only if it explicitly references BIP-110 by name or clearly identifies the same activation or chain-split event through substantially equivalent language, including but not limited to “BIP-110 activation,” “BIP-110-related chain split,” “the reduced_data soft fork,” or another clear reference to a Bitcoin fork or split directly tied to BIP-110.
The filing must address at least one material ETF-related consequence of the split, including but not limited to custody treatment, NAV calculation, forked asset handling, index or reference-rate treatment, creation/redemption procedures, shareholder risk disclosure, tax treatment, trading suspension risk, or which chain the fund intends to treat as Bitcoin.
This market resolves NO if no qualifying issuer files a qualifying SEC disclosure by the deadline.
Press releases, blog posts, X posts, interviews, investor letters, website FAQs, exchange notices, or media reports do not qualify unless they are attached to, incorporated into, or filed as part of an official SEC filing.
Generic risk-factor language about Bitcoin forks, blockchain splits, protocol upgrades, network disruptions, or digital asset risks does not qualify unless the filing specifically addresses BIP-110 or a BIP-110-related chain split.
EDGAR is the primary resolution source. The Top 10 issuer list is frozen at market creation and will not change based on later AUM changes, ETF launches, closures, mergers, or issuer rebranding.
